HAGERSTOWN, MD - Social Security recipients in Maryland will receive their January 2025 payments early, with deposits scheduled for December 2024.

The Social Security Administration (SSA) announced that this adjustment is due to January 1, 2025, falling on a federal holiday, prompting the SSA to issue payments on the last business day of December.
