TOPEKA, KS - With Buc-ee’s planning its first Kansas location in Kansas City, there’s growing interest in where the popular travel center could expand next.

Known for its massive stores, numerous fuel pumps, and extensive food options, Buc-ee’s would fit well in several strategic locations across Kansas, catering to both interstate travelers and local residents.

One logical location is along Interstate 70, particularly near Topeka or Junction City.

I-70 serves as the main east-west route through Kansas, connecting the state’s largest cities and accommodating a high volume of long-distance travelers heading across the country, according to the Kansas Department of Transportation.

Another promising site is Wichita, located along Interstate 35.

As Kansas’ largest city, Wichita sees heavy traffic on I-35, according to the Kansas Department of Transportation.

A Buc-ee’s along this corridor could serve travelers heading to Oklahoma or Texas.

Lastly, Interstate 135 near Salina could also be a viable spot. This route connects I-70 and I-35, making it a key crossroad for travelers moving through the Midwest, according to the Kansas Department of Transportation.

Each of these locations offers prime visibility and access to high-traffic routes, making them logical choices for Buc-ee’s future expansion in Kansas.

How bout Emporia, KS? We're the Hub City that Connects U.S Hwy 50 and the Turnpike to Interstate I-35. We get alot of traffic coming through here from everywhere in between and we're practically in the middle of the U.S.A
