SALEM, OR - As Buc-ee’s continues to expand across the U.S., Oregon could be a logical location for the travel center’s next venture.

Known for its large convenience stores, clean restrooms, and dozens of fuel pumps, Buc-ee’s could cater to both locals and tourists traveling through the state's major highways.

One prime location is along Interstate 5 near Eugene or Salem, two of Oregon’s largest cities.

According to the Oregon Department of Transportation, I-5 serves as the state’s main north-south corridor, connecting travelers from California to Washington.

A Buc-ee’s along this route would attract long-distance travelers, locals, and tourists heading to popular destinations like Portland or the Oregon coast.

Another promising location is along Interstate 84.

I-84 sees thousands of cars daily and runs through the scenic Columbia River Gorge, according to the Oregon Department of Transportation.

A Buc-ee’s near Hood River or The Dalles could cater to tourists exploring the region.

This route also sees thousands of cars daily, according to the Oregon Department of Transportation.

With Oregon’s growing tourism and the high volume of traffic along its interstate highways, these areas would offer prime opportunities for Buc-ee’s to expand into the Pacific Northwest.
