TOPEKA, KS - As Topeka, Kansas, continues to grow as a regional hub, many local and visiting travelers are interested in what a Buc-ee’s location could bring to the area.

Buc-ee’s, known for its expansive locations featuring unique merchandise, clean facilities, and extensive snack options, is often positioned along high-traffic routes and close to tourist areas.

In Topeka, a logical spot for a Buc-ee’s could be along Interstate 70, which is a major east-west route that serves as a critical link for cross-country travel, according to the Kansas Department of Transportation.

A location here would capture both local and interstate traffic, appealing to road-trippers, commuters, and tourists headed toward nearby attractions like the Kansas State Capitol and local museums.

Additionally, the area around Forbes Field, south of central Topeka, could be another ideal location.

This area also sees a lot of traffic, according to the Kansas Department of Transportation.

Proximity to the airport and Kansas National Guard facilities could draw both military personnel and visitors, while ample land availability would support Buc-ee’s preference for large sites.

Adding a Buc-ee’s in Topeka could not only enhance the city’s appeal for travelers but also create jobs and stimulate the local economy.

With strategic placement near popular travel routes and attractions, a Buc-ee’s could become a convenient and popular stop in Kansas.

Where do you think a Buc-ee's could be feasible in Kansas? Check out official traffic counts from the Kansas Department of Transportation.

EMPORIA WOULD FAIR BETTER WITH A BUC-EES CAUSE WERE THE HUB CITY THAT EVERYONE DRIVES THROUGH WHEN THEYRE HEADING NORTH TO KC AND BEYOND OR TO I-70 OR 50 WEST OUT TO DODGE GARDEN CITY HUTCH ETC. WERE ALREADY GETTING THE BIGGEST QUIK TRIP BASED OFF THEIR NEW LARGER DESIGNS BUT BUC-EES WOULD FIT PERFECT.
