In the late evening hours of Wednesday, March 31, a burning vehicle was found in a Target parking lot on Sepulveda Boulevard in Los Angeles.

It’s a little far from where we usually report, but the flames shone brightly.

So brightly, in fact, that police were on scene five minutes after the incident was reported. Go Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD)!

The burning vehicle was parked near other cars, or other cars were parked near it, we can’t be sure.

Is the person in Target now? Did they set the car ablaze and walk away?

Was it an accidental Tamagotchi in the cigarette burner situation?

Have other cars in the parking lot been damaged by this sudden blaze?

    Only time will tell.

While the car was extinguished, police asked all other shoppers to leave the parking lot so that they could tend to the vehicle.

A Citizen video featuring the mysterious scene featured loud music that we assume was coming from the burning vehicle. But we don’t know. These are simply wild conjectures.

But this really did happen one hour ago in Los Angeles. If you see any flames still present, please stay far away from them and contact the proper authorities.

Since COVID-19, crimes have increased in both Los Angeles and the Bay Area. Will the end of COVID-19 mark a return to lower crime rates? Time will tell.

Remember, there are plenty of other Targets around, so just reroute, and practice good fire safety always.
