Spring has finally sprung finally in Cobb County! And if you are like me, you are itching to get outside and enjoy some family fun out in this great weather. Here are the best upcoming festivals and events happening in Cobb County this spring.

Art Blooms at Smith-Gilbert Gardens

Event Dates: April 1, 2021 - May 29, 2021

Smith-Gilbert Gardens presents an art exhibit surrounded by nature. Every Saturday, from April 1 through May 29 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Art Ambassadors will be on-site at the Gardens to share highlights about sculptures and answer questions. Artist demonstrations will take place on Saturdays at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Dreamland Amusements Spring Carnival

Event Dates: April 1, 2021 - April 11, 2021

Dreamland Amusements is hosting their annual Spring Carnival at Town Center at Cobb with more than 50 rides, including kiddie rides like the Dizzy Dragons, spectacular rides like Dreamcatcher, and more. Dreamland also features traditional games for children and adults, including water pistol fun, skeeball, and the strength test.

Kennesaw First Friday Concert Series

Event Dates: the first Friday of the month from April 2, 2021 - October 1, 2021

Enjoy an evening in historic downtown Kennesaw with the First Friday Concerts in the Plaza series. Admission is free, but you can rent tables and chairs that sit a group of 6 for $50. The first concert will feature live music by Fire & The Knife. The concerts will take place from 6 to 9 p.m. at the pedestrian underpass off Main Street. The series will continue every first Friday through October.

Atlanta Seltzerland

Event Date: April 3, 2021

The Fox Creek Golf Club is being turned into a hard seltzer paradise. This one-of-a-kind immersive experience features an afternoon of tasting more than 30 unique hard seltzers, mouthwatering snacks, Instagram-worthy photo ops, and your very own tasting glass to take home. Tickets start at $29.

Acworth Art Fest

Event Dates: April 10, 2021 - April 11, 2021

The Acworth Art Fest returns to historic downtown Acworth on Saturday, April 10 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday, April 11 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. This festival will host booths from more than fifty talented artisans from around the country, featuring paintings, pottery, folk art, jewelry, and more.

Pinners Conference

Event Dates: April 16, 2021 - April 17, 2021

Pinterest will come to life for two days at the fourth annual Georgia Pinners Conference at the Cobb Galleria Centre on April 16 and 17. The event features hundreds of hands-on DIY classes, 200+ vendors, and offers attendees the opportunity to network, learn new skills, shop the latest trends, and create finished projects. Admission costs $10.

Big Shanty Festival

Event Dates: April 17, 2021 - April 18, 2021

Kennesaw's annual Superior Plumbing Big Shanty Festival features more than 200 arts and crafts booths, 25 food booths, an two stages for live entertainment, in downtown Kennesaw. Parking is available at Adams Park & Swift-Cantrell with a free shuttle. Admission to the festival is free.

Parade of Playhouses

Event Dates: April 18, 2021 - May 1, 2021

During regular mall hours at Town Center at Cobb, you can see one-of-a-kind playhouse designs on display. Each house is a fully-functional piece of art, uniquely designed and brought to life by volunteer build teams. In May, the playhouses will be auctioned off to benefit the Center for Family Resources

Dessert Wars

Event Date: May 2, 2021

Dessert Wars is the largest dessert festival in America, featuring more than 50 dessert vendors. During this event, you can sample local dessert vendors and watch master bakers compete to be Dessert Wars Champion at the Cobb Galleria Centre. Samples are included with ticket purchase.
