Nestled in the heart of Goshen, Kentucky - just outside of Louisville - is Hermitage Farm: a culinary, art, and equine oasis. It's an utmost emobodiment of the Commonwealth of Kentucky.

The goal of Hermitage Farm is to celebrate Kentucky's unique agricultural heritage and signature industries; as such, guests can enjoy farm-to-table dining, thoroughbred horses, a bourbon experience, and contemporary art all on the property. In essence, it is a 19th-century estate beautifully positioned for the 21st-century and beyond.

    A Magical, Immersive Art Walk

Located behind the on-site restaurant (Barn8), which is certainly worth a visit, guests will find the location of the Art Walk. While it appears to just be woods on the property during the day, the woods behind Barn8 come alive at night.

In the woods, patrons have the ability to envelop themselves in the most beautiful, immersive art experience in the Commonwealth of Kentucky. In the exhibit, the boardwalk (over 1,500 ft. long!) weaves alongside a creek as intricate projections illuminate the surrounding landscape. Patrons take in the art experience by walking the boardwalk at their respective pace.

    About the Owners

Oldham County, Kentucky residents Laura Lee Brown and Steve Wilson purchased Hermitage Farm to save it from suburban development. Their efforts have placed Hermitage Farm’s nearly seven hundred acres into conservation easement, which'll allow the property to be active farmland into perpetuity.
