    Georgia Renaissance Festival

    Event Dates: May 1, 2021 through June 13, 2021

    The Georgia Renaissance Festival transports you back in time to the Renaissance period where you can experience jousting tournaments, Medieval games, giant turkey legs, and crazy talent shows. You can shop til you drop at the artisan market with over 150 stalls, feast like royalty on the Medieval dining selection, test your skills at axe throwing or archery, and enjoy entertainment of every type from juggling to comedy shows to hypnotists.

    Sweet Auburn Springfest

    Event Dates: May 3, 2021 through May 9, 2021

    The Sweet Auburn Springfest is the largest free outdoor festival in the Southeast. This spring festival in Atlanta’s historic Sweet Auburn District offers a mix of live music, food, and family-friendly fun. The mile-and-a-half avenue will be lined with 10 stages and dozens of vendors selling art, jewelry, fashion, and more. Children can enjoy rides and games in the Fantastic Fun Zone. You can discover new artists playing on the numerous stages. And you’ll get the chance to explore the historic district rich in African American history.

    Gardens For Connoisseurs Tour

    Event Dates: May 8, 2021 through May 9, 2021

    The Gardens For Connoisseurs Tour by the Atlanta Botanical Garden is a beloved Mother’s Day tradition that sells out quick each year. During this tour, you will stroll through Atlanta’s most remarkable private gardens. This self-guided walking tour of the creativity of talented landscape architects, designers and local gardeners within the city’s most admired neighborhoods. The tour features private gardens in neighborhoods from Decatur to Ansley Park to Sherwood Forest.

    The Interlock Block Party: Cinco de Mayo

    Event Date: May 5, 2021

    Presented by Solis Interlock, Westside’s newest luxury apartment community, the Interlock Block Party: Cinco de Mayo is a free event complete with food trucks, alcohol, and a farmers market. You can celebrate Cinco de Mayo in style on Wednesday May 5 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. for this free community event.

    Memorial Day Weekend at Stone Mountain

    Event Dates: May 3, 2021 through May 31, 2021

    Stone Mountain honors troops and their families at this four-day Memorial Weekend event. Spend the day enjoying the attractions at Stone Mountain Park, and then enjoy a special tribute Lasershow. The sky will light up during this special Lasershow with choreographed music, honoring the men and women who protect our country. A special patriotic fireworks finale will immediately follow the Lasershow.

    Duluth Spring Arts Festival

    Event Date: May 22, 2021 through May 23, 2021

    The two-day Duluth Spring Arts Festival puts an emphasis on the visual arts and family fun. Duluth is one of the most vibrant and fastest growing communities in North Atlanta, and the city is home to one of the largest art buying communities in metro Atlanta. The event features 86 painters, photographers, sculptors, metalworkers, glass artists, jewelers, and more. There are live artist demonstrations, acoustic music, and gourmet food trucks to enjoy.

    Cheengz Flying Disc Festival

    Event Date: May 29, 2021

    The Cheengz Flying Disc Festival in Austell is a family-focused event and competition designed to introduce kids and parents to tournament disc sports. The Flying Disc Festival consists of three flying disc skill challenges: Disc Golf, Puttmaster, and KwikFlik. The day ends with a canine disc exhibition by members of the Greater Atlanta Dog and Disc Club.
