California is a western state located in the United States. It stretches from the Mexican border along the Pacific for close to 900 miles. The city is one with cliff-lined beaches, mountains, Central Valley farmlands and redwood forest.
Los Angeles is known as the seat of Hollywood. It is also known to have one of the biggest draws for the beach scene, so if you looking to travel or are already in the city, some of the beaches you can visit are;
Paradise Cove Beach

Located in Malibu, this beach is a tiny one that can be both private and public. It is mostly left under the control of the Paradise Cove beach cafe, who provides all the necessities. However, you can access the beach easily if you need to surf or swim. A large number of the visitors to the beach rent out the private terraces, lounges and also the beach bed.
If you have enough cash to fork up, the private terraces can take up almost $800 dollars on most weekends. If your aim is to find a beach to relax in, Paradise Cove is your best bet, it is not as crowded and it is properly cared for, with a view that’s sure to impress you.
Carbon Beach

Also known as Billionaire’s beach, it is located in Malibu and while it is not a private beach, the atmosphere would make it seem as though it is. You may come across a few folks as you walk behind their homes as it houses ultra-wealthy folks but this beach is as secluded as a beach can get.
The water is great for swimming, it is calm with no rocks in sight, the sand is also soft and cozy. This beach gives off an intimate atmosphere, perfect for you to just laze around all day or take short strolls or jogs.
There are only a few places in Malibu that aren’t overcrowded with people and this is one of them.
Sacred Cove

Also known as Abalone cove shoreline park, this beach is one that is perfect for coastal hikes, it leads the way to a cove, highly secluded and marked with stunning rock formations and tide pools. If you are looking to sunbathe, this beach is not for you but if you are after the beauty of nature, this is the perfect place for you.
The tide pool is aflow with starfishes, abalone shells and spectacular views out to the sea. On a clear day, you can see Catalina island from the view the beach provides you.
Santa Monica State Beach

This beach is known as one of the most iconic beaches in LA. With its long, white and sandy beaches. It houses a pier, and also the Annenberg community beach houses. This is one beach that is never not crowded, it is always teeming with activities, the beach has rollercoaster rides, luxury hotels, junks and just about anything you need to have an amazing day at the beach.
The Santa Monica beach is one that is sure to keep you occupied, if you don’t find an activity for yourself, you might not be looking well enough.
Point Dume State Beach

Situated at the end of Malibu, at a point that opens out into the pacific, with a dramatic cliff edge and also drops down to a beautiful beach that is crescent shaped. The water is a crystal clear one making it a perfect spot for swimming on a summer afternoon.
The beach is also famed for being a great spot to learn rock climbing. This particular beach has something for everybody.
