Finding the Best Breakfasts in Disney World is no easy task. What breakfast foods do you like? How many people are in your travel party? Are you in a rush or do you need to ease into your morning? So many things to be considered! How do you know which one to pick? Here's our round-up of our favorite places to eat breakfast at Walt Disney World.
Where to Find the Best Breakfasts at Walt Disney World
Getting breakfast at Walt Disney World is sometimes more trouble than it's worth! Especially when you're up against figuring out Disney Transportation, trying to get to the rides before lines get too long, and kids who may be dragging early in the morning. While we always love the alternative of just having granola bars in the resort room for a cheap breakfast at Disney, sometimes you need actual food! Here are the best places to eat breakfast at Disney World we've found so far!
Les Halles Boulangerie Pâtisserie | EPCOT France
Hands down our favorite quick breakfast at Disney World, this French Disney Quick Serve Restaurant features a variety of croissants, sandwiches, quiches, parfait, and breakfast-ready desserts. Everything you need for a great little meal to start your day. You can eat inside or outside and we love that this place in World Showcase tends to open early- like at 9 am. Making it the perfect location to have breakfast at EPCOT if you're hoping to be close to the action when the rest of World Showcase opens at 11 am.
Kona Cafe
The Kona Cafe at the Polynesian Resort is home to the famous Tonga Toast! This French toast, stuffed with bananas and covered in cinnamon and sugar delicacy is definitely worth trying! We also love that you can get eggs, potatoes, French press, tea, and a mimosa flight. While we also love dinner at the Kona Cafe, nothing compares to grabbing breakfast at Kona before heading to Magic Kingdom for the day!
Trattoria al Forno
You may know Trattoria al Forno for its fancy Italian dinners, its pizza, or the Bon Voyage Character Breakfast. But you can also grab breakfast without characters! If you know how to ask for it. If you're looking for an amazing iced coffee, avocado toast, and all your basic omelet flair with a bit of Italian thrown in then this may just be your next breakfast stop. Check out our review of breakfast at Trattoria al Forno and why we think this is one of the best breakfasts at Disney World.
Be Our Guest
Ahhh. Be Our Guest. We love every meal here. and yes, breakfast is pricey! Especially since unlike the Crystal Palace or other buffet breakfasts at Disney, the portion sizes are small. Which makes that price harder to digest. BUT, we do love pastries, and fancy breakfasts in gorgeous surroundings, so Be Our Guest will continue to be one of our favorite places to book early, so we can be in the parks before it opens.
Crystal Palace
A very budget-friendly character breakfast with Winnie the Pooh and Friends, the Crystal Palace at Magic Kingdom not only offers great food but it's also a buffet style. So everyone in your party is sure to find something they love. And if you're in the mood for ice cream, they have that too. Of course if ice cream for breakfast isn't your favorite, then they also have an omelet-making station where you can customize to your heart's delight.
Caribbean Beach Resort Quick Serve
We get it. Disney Resort commissary food is generally all the same right? And how many Mickey waffles do you actually need? But at the Caribbean Beach Resort the breakfast food is a whole lot different. Strawberry French toast with grilled potatoes, avocado salsa on toast, and of course all the basic breakfast foods you know and love.
Chef Art Smith's Homecomin' Rise and Shine Brunch
Found in Disney Springs, Chef Art Smith's Homecomin' Rise and Shine Brunch chicken and waffles, and fried green tomatoes, and all sorts of southern cooking for breakfast. And if the cake is more your style, you can hummingbird, coconut, and chocolate, among others. What we loved about this breakfast is that the food was just so darn good! Seriously worth another visit. Add a mimosa and feel free to stay awhile!
Grand Floridian Cafe
The Grand Floridian Cafe is another one of the best breakfasts in Disney World. Mainly because you get views of the Grand Floridian gardens, a super fresh breakfast; pancakes with fruit compote, omelets, french press coffee, pastries. So many options!
Mickey a La Art Breakfast at Topolino Terrace
The newest rooftop dining experience at Disney World is at Disney's Riviera Resort. The Mickey a la Art Breakfast is a character breakfast, featuring Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Daisy. This is an amazingly budget-friendly meal that easily makes our best breakfasts at Walt Disney World list. We love that there are plant-based dining options and indoor and outdoor seating.
Woody's Lunch Box
This egg and tater tot bowl is AMAZING and budget-friendly as a quick-serve breakfast in Toy Story Land at Walt Disney World's Hollywood Studios. While you can also check out Woody's Lunch Box for a yummy grilled cheese and tomato soup lunch, we also love it as a good option for breakfast. You can grab a S'more's French Toast Sandwich, Turkey Breakfast Sandwich, or Parfait!
