Twenty-six free vaccination sites are now available in the Houston area

HOUSTON - The Houston Health Department has organized a campaign to distribute free first-dose Covid-19 vaccines starting May 31.
Around 26 Houston Health Department-affiliated vaccination sites are scheduled for the week, receiving walk-ins and appointments. Vaccinations at these sites do not require proof of residency, citizenship, or insurance.
This is the schedule for their pop-up sites:
Palomino Place Apartments, 4400 W Airport Blvd., June 1-2, 1-5 p.m. Pfizer
Cambridge Village Apartments, 12945 S Post Oak Rd. June 1-2 1-5 p.m. Pfizer
Sellers Bros., 601 N 67th St. June 3-4: 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. and June 5: 9 a.m. - 3 p.m., Moderna
Alamo Tamale Company, 809 Berry Rd., June 3-4: 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. and June 5: 9 a.m. - 3 p.m., Moderna
Pepsi Bottling Group, 9300 La Porte Fwy., June 4: 10 a.m. - 6 p.m., Pfizer
Hip-Hop Vintage Flea Market, 2011 Leeland St, June 6: 12-5 p.m., Moderna
Moderna vaccine is available at the fixed sites at the department’s health centers and some multi-service centers.

Second doses of the Moderna vaccine are also available at the department’s four health centers.
For the first dose of Moderna, the vaccine is available for a drive-thru at:

Saturday: 10 a.m.-2 p.m, Moderna
• Rodeo Reed Parking Lot, 2098 Reed Rd.
Saturday: 10 a.m.-2 p.m., Moderna
Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson vaccines are available at NRG Park Yellow Lot, Gate 16, 9036 S. Main St. They are available with or without appointments on Tuesdays through Sundays from noon to 7 p.m. Visit HoustonEmerency.org/covid19 or call 832-393-4220 or 832-393-4301 to arrange an appointment.
