    (ST. JOSEPH, Mo.) A Savannah mother has sounded the alarm on a COVID-19 outbreak at Buchanan County Academy and claimed she wasn't notified of the growing cases. Authorities said the juvenile detention center in St. Joseph is currently dealing with an increasing number of coronavirus cases. As of June 17th, the academy's Chief Deputy Juvenile Officer, Dan Sharp, reported seven total cases, five juveniles and two staff members. Read more

    Free memorial youth fishing derby held Saturday in St. Joseph

    (ST. JOSEPH, Mo.) A youth fishing derby scheduled for Saturday in St. Joseph is about more than “the big catch” or reeling in wins. Bubba Sho’s Fishing Derby will be held on June 26, from 11:00 a.m. to 6 p.m. with the goal of raising awareness about youth suicide and prevention. The event is held in memory of Charron McDaniel II, called “Bubba Sho” by friends and family, who died by suicide earlier this year. Read more

    Greetings, my name is Patty, and I have 5 Beloved Grand's by God's Great Grace. 1i KNOW of has lost on the average a friend or someone he knows or knew and that he loved dearly as he is an exceptional young man who is inside out because of the pain he carries inside..I know all our children are being destroyed and taken from us 1 way or another in these, I believe are the days of sorrows. So KNOW I commend you all for this Brilliant idea and the efforts you have put in to cover what looks like all the bases to help save our Beloved young ones. 2 things..1.this is the 1st I've heard of this so I haven't had time to play Town Cryer.. 2. Can't find send to forward..2b. and I may be down for repairs but I want to help this expand beyond 1 day and get involved

    why did this not come to my notifications till then27th!! I have a troubled teen and was one myself. water is the calm. we love fishing. this would have been our best memory of the year. KQ2 u have failed us! I can't type out the amount of rage and disappointment I feel!!
