The scenery at Antelope Canyon can only be described as postcard worthy. This amazing spot on the Navajo Nation boasts spectacular views. Located a few hours’ drive from Vegas, you will want to make sure to make a day of it. Before you visit, reach out to a local tour company as a permit is required for all visitors. It is a long trip from Las Vegas but if you have the time, this is a place you don't want to miss. You will also want to leave enough time to see the famous Horseshoe Bend. It is a nice break from the bright lights of the strip.
What I recommend to do: Go on a tour bus because 4 hours there and 4 hours back to Vegas is harsh
Location: 10010 Catalina Canyon Ave Las Vegas, NV 89147
You have seen it in movies or even in commercials. Though it looks nice on the big screen, the Bellagio Fountain Show needs to be seen in person. Their beautiful fountains put on a show every 30 minutes starting at 3 pm and every 15 minutes from 8 pm until midnight. It is truly mesmerizing to watch the fountains dance to the wonderful music. The best part about these fountains is that you can watch as many times as you’d like because there is no charge. During holidays, they have special colored lights to match whatever holiday is that month. For example, during December the fountain colors are green and red and it's always a sight to see
What I recommend: Come around 8pm for the best views
Location: 3600 S Las Vegas Blvd Las Vegas, NV 89109
If taking in show is on your Las Vegas agenda, then look no further than Cirque du Soleil. They offer five shows at a number of casinos on the strip. They are all winners. You will be captivated by the amazing contortionists, gymnasts, and acrobats. The prices for these shows will vary, but they are all certainly well worth the money.
What I recommend: Shows here are $100+ so make sure your wallet is with you
Location: 3600 S Las Vegas Blvd Las Vegas, NV 89109
Stratosphere Observation Deck
Are you a fan of heights? If so, then you will love the view from the Stratosphere Observation Deck. At a price of $29 for adults and $18 for kids, you will get a bird’s eye view of the entire strip and then some. If you are looking for a crazy amount of adventure, then perhaps you want to try their roller coaster or take your turn at bungee jumping. Those less adventurous folks will enjoy their Top of the World restaurant.
Location: 2000 South Las Vegas Boulevard, NV 89109
Now that you have reviewed some of the great options available to you on your next trip to Las Vegas, it is time to decide which ones you would like to try. Saving money on free attractions is always great, but sometimes people take their Vegas vacation as an opportunity to splurge. No matter which applies to you, there are plenty of options, and they are all worth the trip.
