Washington Football Team News: NFL Fines WFT $10 Million Following Workplace Culture Investigation
The NFL has fined the Washington Football Team $10 million following an almost year-long culture investigation. Commissioner Roger Goodell in a statement released by the NFL stated that they “concluded that for many years the workplace environment at the Washington Football Team, both generally and particularly for women, was highly unprofessional.” In addition to the fine, Tanya Snyder, wife of WFT owner Dan Snyder, will take over the day-to-day duties for the foreseeable future and will represent the franchise at league functions for the next several months.
