Pennsylvania "Mom Killer" Now Called Serial Killer in 2 States

According to Pennsylvania authorities, Keith Gibson, 39, is going to face charges in the shooting death of his mother, Christine Gibson, 54. Earlier this year, she was found shot to death. He is also suspected of a double homicide that occurred in Philadelphia's Germantown neighborhood in January.

Gibson is alleged to have shot and killed 28-year-old Leslie Ruiz-Basilio after robbing a cellphone store in Elsmere, Delaware, on May 15.

During a street robbery in Wilmington on June 5, Gibson shot and killed Ronald Wright, 42, along with another man, prosecutors said.

A gunman attacked Christine Lugo, 40, earlier that same day as she opened up her Philadelphia doughnut shop. Police in Philadelphia claims that Gibson pushed her inside at gunpoint, took about $300 from her, shot her in the head, and fled the scene. At the scene, she was declared dead.

Gibson is suspected of robbing or assaulting three other people in Delaware over the next three days and trying to kill one of them. A Wilmington Rite-Aid clerk was pistol-whipped during the robbery on June 8.

Overall, Gibson has been charged with 41 felony counts.
