U.S. National Whitewater Center is a North Carolina nonprofit organization committed to facilitating and promoting access to the outdoors for everyone. The mission of the U.S. National Whitewater Center is to build stronger communities by:

The activities include- rafting, kayaking, high ropes, Special events, summer camps, group outings, banquets, outdoor leadership, hiking, biking, team development, concerts, racing, special events, festivals, zip lines, and stand-up paddleboarding.

Whitewater Center also hosts several festivals and international competitions and events on a repeat basis. The main objective is land acquisition and natural resource management by increasing the size of protected lands and promoting them.
