More Recreational Centers and Parks are Open in Denver

Denver, Co - On Monday, August 16, 2021. The Denver Parks and Recreation will open ten recreational centers as the fourth phase of reopening Denver Recreation Centers.

The recreational that will be open are:

• 5090 Recreation Center
• Barnum Recreation Center
• College View Recreation Center
• Harvard Gulch Recreation Center
• Johnson Recreation Cente
• La Familia Recreation Center
• Montbello Recreation Center
• Southwest Recreation Center
• St. Charles Recreation Center
• Swansea Recreation Center

All these recreational centers will be open from Monday to Saturday. The operational hours are from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. every Monday-Friday, and on Saturday the operational hours will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Furthermore, the 16 centers that are already running will extend their hours of operation for the week and into the weekend.

On Monday, August 16, the following indoor swimming pools will open:

• Athmar Recreation Center

Monday-Friday open from 9:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. and Saturday open from 9:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.

• Carla Madison Recreation Center

Monday-Thursday opens from 5:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., Friday from 5:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and Sunday open from 8:00 to 11:30 a.m.

• Central Park Recreation Center

Monday-Thursday opens from 5:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., Friday from 5:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and Sunday opens from 8:00 to 11:30 a.m.

• Glenarm Recreation Center

Monday-Friday opens from 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

• Hiawatha Davis Recreation Center

Monday-Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

• Montbello Recreation Center

Monday-Friday open from 10:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.; Saturday-Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

• Rude Recreation Center

Monday-Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.; and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

• Washington Park Recreation Center

Monday-Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Saturday 8:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and Sunday 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
