Lime E-Scooters Finally Hit NYC Streets in Micromobility Pilot Program
New York City is coming around on the electric scooter as Lime and other companies launch their pilot programs in the Big Apple. Lime CEO Wayne Ting joined Cheddar to talk about its Gen4 scooter coming to the Bronx and what the success of the program could mean for the micromobility industry overall. Ting also addressed persistent safety concerns on city streets for scooters, bikes, and pedestrians, which have been behind Mayor Bill de Blasio’s Vision Zero program, and spoke to e-scooters being a more climate-friendly alternative to even electric cars. #New York
