Sweet Spot: One of the few authentic Hong Kong restaurants in Doraville

DORAVILLE, GA — Sweet Spot is one of the few Hong Kong restaurants in Greater Atlanta. The restaurant is located at 6035 Peachtree Rd Ste A-115 Doraville, GA 30341. They serve Hong Kong sweets & desserts and modernized traditional Hong Kong cuisines.

Shiu Kai T. on Yelp said that the restaurant used to only serve sweets and desserts menu. But they recently changed it to include popular Hong Kong-style foods. Along with this new addition are Hong Kong-ized international foods such as HK-style french toast and baked rice and spaghetti.

They serve HK-style borscht soup, corn chowder, fried wings, curry, and spaghetti bolognese. Their authentic HK and other Asian-related dishes include tong sui, mochi ice cream, and stir-fries of vermicelli, fried rice, and beef chow fun. They also have vegan and spice lover menus.

Try their red bean ice cream bowls served with mini mochi and a Hong Kong-style egg bubble waffle. You may also want to try Black Sesame Fleecy which Rose E. on Yelp loves. Aside from those, they also serve tea, milk tea, and ice pops.

Their most unique fusion bowl menu consists of a base of grass jelly, sago, or tofu pudding. It is paired with fresh mango purée or vanilla cream. Then added a scoop of ice cream and fruit toppings.

Unfortunately, they only receive take-out and delivery as of now. They are currently expanding and finishing the construction of their shop. They might be open for dine-in customers next September.
