Stretch out and relax with Woodruff Park free yoga session every weekend

    2021-08-27

ATLANTA, GA — Stressed out after a long week of work, studies, or tending to your family? Stretch out and relax on a yoga session in Woodruff Park. You can participate in the class for free every Saturday morning from 9 a.m. - 10 a.m.

The yoga class is targeted towards all skills and levels and is beginner-friendly. The class will focus on vinyasa flow, a yoga of sun salutations. The forms practiced in the class will be downward-facing dogs. The session will use arms to form chaturanga as well as matching breath with movements.

The 20-year-old boutique yoga studio OnlYoga will lead all classes. They specialize in ashtanga, tristana, and creative vinyasa. They teach yoga as if it is a tool for transformation.

This free yoga closest class is held next week on September 4. There will be no class on August 28 and October 2. Do not forget to bring your own mat and water as they won’t provide you with any. Mocha Pops will give all participants free popsicles when the class has ended.

As the COVID-19 pandemic is still going on, all participants must use a mask or face coverings in class. They are also required to socially distance themselves from everyone in the venue.

Even though the event is free, you will still need to register before attending. You can do so here. The program may be canceled due to rain, extreme adverse weather, or park closure. Participants who register will be notified if the classes are canceled that day.

Woodruff Park is located at 91 Peachtree St NW, Atlanta, GA 30303.
