Chef Ellard goes to Magic's Beach Grill on Ali'i Dr. in Kailua-Kona on Hawai'i Island. The ocean views and sounds at this restaurant are amazing. If you love the presence of the ocean when you're dining, there's not a bad seat in the house. The restaurant includes local food products on their menu as much as possible. Ulu aka breadfruit is one that is included ubiquitously, prepared many ways on their menu. The Executive Chef has an ulu tattooed on his arm!
