    Homecoming is 1-0 forfeit win over St. Stephens

    LUSK – The Tigers were supposed to face St. Stephens for Homecoming Friday evening, but the Eagles submitted a forfeit notice to Niobrara County High School Activities Director Ryan Nelson last Thursday, and it wasn’t enough time for Nelson to find a makeup game. St. Stephens didn’t field a team in 2020 and has won just four games since resuming the program in 2013. Citing low numbers and lack of approved practices were the noted reasons, and the WyoPreps.com No. 1-ranked Tigers were left without a Homecoming game. Read more
