    Bears Overcome 2-0 Deficit for First Time in Nine Years

    NEWBERRY, S.C. – The Lenoir-Rhyne Volleyball Team fell behind 2-0 and lost the second set 32-30 but refused to lose on Thursday night. For the first time since Sept. 15, 2012, the Bears overcame a 2-0 deficit to come away with a 3-2 win as Taylor Prall's kill hit the floor to secure a 15-12 fifth set victory. Read more

    Wolves Head North to Race on One of the Region’s Most Prestigious Courses

    Newberry, S.C. - After a successful home meet last Saturday, the Newberry Men's and Women's Cross Country Teams will participate in the Royals Challenge in Charlotte, N.C. The race will take place at McAlpine Creek Park and will get started with the women toeing the line at 3:40 PM and the Men following with an approximate 4:15 PM start time. Read more

    Bulldogs girls’ swimming heads to state

    NEWBERRY — The Newberry Bulldogs swim team final swim of the regular season was held on September 29, 2021. The team celebrated senior Emily Allen before the meet and recognized her parents Joe and Kimberly Allen and welcomed her brother, Matthew Allen, back from college. Emily Allen has been swimming for NHS for six years and has been the captain for the past two seasons. Read more

    Bears volleyball overcomes first 2-0 deficit since 2012

    NEWBERRY, S.C. — Despite losing the first two sets of Thursday night’s road match at Newberry, the Lenoir-Rhyne volleyball team rallied to secure a five-set win over their South Atlantic Conference foes. Following losses of 25-19 and 32-30 in the first two sets, the Bears won the next three sets 25-23, 25-23 and 15-12 to shock the Wolves on their home floor. Read more
