    NHS swimmers earn first medals of the season at Carthage Invite

    Karter Evans earned four medals and the Nevada High School boys swim team finished fourth out of eight schools Thursday at the Carthage Invitational. Evans, a junior, placed second in the 50-yard freestyle (25.77 seconds) and third in the 100-yard free (57.28) — and was part of the two relay teams along with Chosen Reichard, Colby Bourassa, and Jeremiah Hoss finished which took third (2:13 in the 200-yard medley, 1:55 in the 200-yard free).
