Winter Leafy Vegetables On Chicken Soup Or "Chicken Tinola" In Filipino
Leafy greens grow very well in Los Angeles during colder months and we have lots of them growing in our backyard edible garden. Last night's dinner was chicken soup with chayote and some garden harvest - tatsoi, joi choi and Chinese cabbage. This is a popular Filipino recipe in the Philippines especially during rainy season. We call it "chicken tinola."
