You might want to attend the Tacoma Home + Garden Show at the Tacoma Dome on more than one day to take in all that will be offered. Let your dreams for your home run a little wild with four full days of the show featuring a large variety of offerings.

Want a state of the art garage? New windows? A spa? Looking for the healthiest home products or sustainable furnishing? What to do with that shady north-facing corner of your yard? This only begins to touch on what you can find and learn about at the show.

Local celebrity Ciscoe Morris will be on hand, as he always is at these kinds of shows, to talk about your gardens and landscaping. The hosts of the show "Unsellable Houses" will take to the stage on Friday and Saturday to talk about how to turn a shabby house into a marketable gem. Several more noted authors and designers will also speak at the show.

The show runs from Thursday, January 27th through Sunday, January 30th. It will be open from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm Thursday through Saturday, and from 11 am to 5 pm on Sunday.

Be sure to check out the Tacoma Night Market, also taking place at the show. The pop up market features handmade artisans and craftspeople.

Cost of admission is $12. Kids under 12 get in free. You can download a coupon on the website for $2 off the price of admission. In addition, several categories of people will be offered free admission.

Active military and veterans can get in free on Friday January 28th, and free admission is also being given to frontline workers; firefighters, police, and healthcare workers on that day. Just bring your work ID.

On Sunday, January 30th, teachers get free admission.

There's a sweepstakes being held on the show website, and lots of vendors have giveaways and special discounts.
