If vintage treasures, antiques, handmade and repurposed goods are your thing, Bremerton is home to a flea market that takes place every Saturday, all year long.

More than 25 vendors hawk their wares in the full space of The Dusty Pug, a vintage store that’s open Wednesdays through Saturdays. They have a large space where the vendors are set up once a week.

Lamps made from pipes and fans, old gas station signs, antique furniture, mid-century finds, genuine Tiki décor, vinyl records, cast iron, glass bottles, vintage toys, jewelry, vintage clothing, old cowboy boots, pristine vintage Pyrex bakeware… the choices are endless and ever varying. You can attend the market once a month or so and always find new (old) things.

You’re in luck if shopping works up an appetite because the weekly market also includes a food truck. Which food truck depends on the week, as at least a few different ones rotate in and out. Check the website for the schedule.

If you’re heading to Bremerton from Seattle, this is a good opportunity for a day trip. You can drive onto the ferry from the Colman dock on the waterfront, but it’s also an easy trip for pedestrians. Walking off the ferry on the Bremerton side, you can stroll along the waterfront boardwalk, or head straight to the vintage market. It’s about a 10 minute walk.

The flea market runs from 10 am to 4 pm every Saturday and is located at 816 Pacific Avenue. Look for some of the vendors and goods spilling out into parking lot.
