  • Find Ancient Sea Fossils and Fantastic Views at This Park

Out in Copper Breaks State Park is a great little hike to Juniper Ridge. It has a neat shaded bench overlooking the lake and some petrified Permian sea ripples along the trail to discover. The hike is about a half a mile with only 60 feet of elevation gain making it perfect for families. Be sure to stay late into the night in this park since it is also a dark sky park and perfect for astronomy and stargazing.
