It’s the biggest home show in the North Sound area and it’s a bit old school.

The Washington State Evergreen Spring Home Show takes place over three days, from April 22nd to April 24th, at the Evergreen State Fairgrounds in Monroe.

The cost of admission is $7 for adults and $6 for seniors who are aged 62 and older. Kids who are 16 and under get in for free. The old school part of this is that admission fees are cash only. There will be an ATM at the site if you forget your cash, although it will likely charge its own fees.

Going the cash-only route saves the organizers money, as they won’t have to pay credit card processing fees, but there’s a way for you to save money as well. You can go online and print out a coupon for $3 off the price of your admission. The coupon is good for 2 admission tickets but it must be under your name. You have to bring the paper coupon with you to get the discount. Click here for a link to the coupon.

More than 175 booths from all sorts of home related vendors will populate the show, from building and renovation companies to decorating and landscaping experts. Products will be available for purchase and free real estate seminars will be offered every day of the show on topics like saving money on real estate commissions and home buying mistakes.

The Evergreen State Fairgrounds are located at 14405 179th Ave SE in Monroe, and parking is free and plentiful.
