A husband in Indiana has been sentenced to spend 50 years in prison after taking a plea agreement in the case of his murdered wife whose head was found buried in his cellar.

Michael Parks was accussed of murdering his wife, Hope Parks, inside of their Crawfordsville home nearly two years ago.

Parks originally claimed that his wife had gone missing, but officers discovered dried blood in their garage and driveway.

The officers then obtained a search warrant and discovered Hope’s head severed and buried in the cellar. She had sustained a gunshot to the head before having her head severed.
