  • Clydesdale horses of a Sturgeon's Mill

Another part of visiting the Sturgeon's Mill is they have a horse demo to show how the horses worked in the process of harvesting logs. The Clydesdale is a Scottish breed of draught horse. It is named for its area of origin, the Clydesdale or valley of the River Clyde, much of which is within the county of Lanarkshire.
