A bus driver in North Carolina was arrested after hitting a construction worker while driving intoxicated.

Donald Eli is a bus driver of almost 20 years in Raleigh and has been charged with driving a commercial vehicle while impaired and consuming alcohol on a bus in connection with this collision.

585,030 Pounds of Chicken Recalled for North Carolina Shoppers

There were not any children on Eli’s bus at the time of the collision, and Eli was also suspended from employment as a result of the situation.

The construction worker did experience leg injuries from the crash but is expected to recover.
