David White, 38, and Holly Sloan, 36, were arrested by Indiana police for their alleged involvement in a series of armed robberies and other crimes.

Officers responded to a report that a robbery had taken place.

Arriving on the scene, the officers spoke with the alleged victims, later identified as White and Sloan.

According to the pair, two suspects held them at gunpoint and tried to get them to withdraw cash from their checking accounts.

Detectives later discovered that White and Sloan, the alleged victims, were wanted on armed robbery warrants.

Both were taken in for further questioning.

They both confessed to committing a robbery during the interview, and one of them confessed to some other recent crimes in the area.

Officers believe that White and Sloan's phoning the police and pretending to be robbed was likely fabricated to conceal other crimes they have committed.
