If you're hankering for your next fix of the hit Netflix show, you can head over to the Oakbrook Center pop-up shop and find yourself immersed in Hawkins, Indiana.

(CHICAGO) Stranger Things fans can visit the Upside Down this summer when they check out the pop-up store located in Oakbrook Center for an interactive and immersive experience.

While there, get your hands on exclusive merchandise such as '80s-inspired Stranger Things breakfast cereal and Demogorgon action figures.

In Chicagoland for a limited time only

The shop is only in Chicagoland for a limited time, so don't delay if you want to see for yourself the world of Hawkins, Indiana.

Update: July 9, 2022: Although admission is free, tickets can be reserved in advance, and the last day on the website that is currently available for a reservation is August 21, 2022.

"We are thrilled to bring this retail experience to Chicago and create an opportunity for Stranger Things fans to see themselves more in the show they love," Greg Lombardo, Head of Experiences at Netflix said in a press release.

"The Stranger Things Store will send guests right into the heart of Hawkins, in a truly immersive retail experience, totally stoked with 80’s vibes," he continued. "And the chance to take home a piece of their favorite show with unique merchandise that isn't available anywhere else. But be warned, you never know when things will turn Upside Down!”

Do you need reservations?

Yes, according to the website, advance tickets are recommended as guaranteed entry is preferred, and only a limited number of walk-in guests will be allowed in.

What to expect

The store will feature exclusive merchandise and the chance for Instagram-worthy photos. Interactive exhibits include Joyce's house, the Starcourt Mall, the Palace Arcade, and, of course, a close encounter with the Demogorgon.

Will there really be exclusive merchandise?

Yes, some of it will be, at least, until it starts showing up for resale online. According to the press release, "some merchandise will be exclusive to the pop-up locations." However, "select merchandise will also be available for purchase online at Netflix.shop."

The shop is located in Oakbrook Center at 75 Oakbrook Center in Oakbrook.

Hours are Monday through Saturday from 10 AM to 8 PM and Sundays from 10 AM to 6 PM.
