I was born in Lee county fl in 1966 Cape Coral was swamp land and people used to use Air boats through there.Get the book history of Cape Coral and read about the first home built there that had iron gates built around it with heavy security as members of the German Mafia were the owners!in late 80's became known as Cape Cardiac because many older people retired and moved there!

we moved here to live free and live in a red state. taxes are low no state tax. There is alot of rural areas. we love it here NO SNOW
