  • Exploring Badlands National Park || Full Time RV Family

We wandered into the park to see what the Badlands had to offer. We hiked the Door Trail, Notch Trail and the Window Trail. The Door and Window trail was super easy and wheelchair accessible. The Notch Trail, however, is a tougher hike at the end you hike up a wooden ladder and is a little harder to do with kids. Colin did it with Lily on his back, but I was not ready to do the hike with Hunter strapped on to me. This park is great to just drive around and view the rocks and wildlife. We were able to see bighorn sheep and their babies! It was such a nice surprise to see. Find us on Facebook, Instagram and YouTube for more adventures: Top Of The World Adventures.

We camped at Horse Thief campground in Canyon lands. Bare bones Forest Service campground. Most amazing night skies. Wow views of more isolated canyons.
