The scale, the colors, and steep canyons are a feast for the eyes. Badlands National Park in South Dakota consists of more than 240,000 acres of protected prairie grasslands, meadows and valleys. Beautiful landscapes, spires, and rock formations are not the only cool things you will see here. There is also wildlife and plant life.
