SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KCAU) — We are continuing to see quiet conditions across Siouxland as we saw lows in the upper 40s and low 50s with highs into the 80s on Wednesday, and that will be the case for Thursday as we see the brisk mornings followed by warm afternoons continuing.

Friday and even into the weekend look to be about the same as we see plenty of sunshine, slight breezes at times, and lows near the low 50s and highs in the mid 80s. This is great for harvesting, doing anything outside, but will make some fire danger risk when we have windy conditions, as well as drought conditions continuing to get worse. Also, it is going to mean that there will be little to no improvement for those that have seasonal allergies.

A cold front moves through late Monday dropping our temperatures to near 70° on Tuesday, but then we go right back up into the mid and upper 70s to close out the week.
