The haunting rock art of Sego Canyon
Some of the most munificent pictographs we have seen are these rock art panels near the western Colorado border. These ghostly like images uncannily look like what we picture aliens to look like. The sandstone cliffs of this canyon are a spectacular outdoor art gallery that was created by Native Americans over a period of around 8,000 years. There are more than 80 imposing and haunting life-sized figures with hollowed eyes or missing eyes with the absence of arms and legs. Coordinates in comments. Edited 9/19/22 title
