Old Town is finally getting the great-tasting pizza from Kosta’s that only those in Brewer previously enjoyed.
Kosta’s Restaurant in Old Town has finally brought that great pizza up from Brewer. I don't know about you, but in my humble opinion, there were few places to get great pizza in Old Town. The one or two places that make a tasty pizza were getting old. Come into Kosta's and try some pizza fresh from the oven.
Although most of the menu is Greek-oriented, they have an entire lineup of seafood, including Fish ‘n chips, a shrimp or scallop basket with fries and coleslaw, or their premium seafood platter with shrimp, haddock, scallops, coleslaw, and French fries called the Captain’s Platter, which many customers are not able to finish because there’s too much food—especially if you have one of their specialty beers.
So, if you crave fresh, mouthwatering seafood platters in Old Town, Kosta’s has a platter or basket with your name on it in addition to their regular menu.

Lunch at the Kosta’s in Old Town, ME
Kosta’s opens for lunch at 11 am. One of the most popular menu items for lunch is the BBQ Bacon Burger. Pictured above, it’s a half-pound burger topped with bacon, BBQ sauce, American cheese, tomato, lettuce, and onion. They cover the rest of the plate with French fries, coleslaw, and a pickle. It’s a belly-buster, for sure. Wicked good!
If you don’t feel like a burger, they have chicken wraps, chicken or fish sandwiches, or you could try a lamb or chicken gyro! The thing about a lamb gyro is that if you’ve never tried one, no one can tell you about it and do it justice. You have to try it—it’s a pita filled with marinated, grilled lamb, lettuce, tomato, and onion. Served with tzatziki.
Or try one of their hot wheel sandwiches, like shaved steak with cheddar jack cheese or balsamic pesto chicken. They serve both with fries and coleslaw.
Dinner at Kosta’s could be Zymarika (Pasta)
Start with a Greek, calamari, traditional Caesar, warm spinach, or chef’s salad with your choice of dressings: Ranch, Thousand Island, Italian, Blue Cheese, Greek, Balsamic Vinaigrette, Parmesan Peppercorn, Raspberry Vinaigrette, Honey Mustard, or Oil and Vinegar.
All their pasta plates are served with homemade sauce and garlic bread. You must try their homemade fettuccine alfredo with grilled chicken and broccoli.
Other pasta dinners include homemade lasagna with ricotta, chicken parmesan, Mediterranean chicken with sauteed baby spinach, artichoke hearts, kalamata olives, sun-dried tomatoes, and tossed with penne in alfredo sauce, and topped with parmesan and crumbled feta.
Otherwise, you might want to try their Buffalo chicken mac n’ cheese. Their homemade cheese sauce and cracker crumb topping are out-of-this-world delicious.
Of course, you could always have a Pitsa (Pizza) with one of their specialty beers. They have Greek, Vegetarian, Chicken Broccoli or Spinach Feta, All-meat, Big Mac Pizza, Buffalo Chicken Calzone, or make-your-own pizza.
Top off dinner with either Chocolate Mousse or Toasted Almond Cream Cake.
