LA sees Covid surge as cases spike by 75%

Los Angeles, Dec 7 (SocialNews.XYZ) Los Angeles is experiencing another Covid-19 surge, with cases rising by 75 per cent in the last week.

The Los Angeles County reported an average of 3,721 daily coronavirus cases in the seven-day period ending on Monday, up from 2,128 the prior week, Xinhua news agency reported.

The latest case rate doubled what it was just before Thanksgiving, and tripled the rate recorded in the first week of November.

Covid-19 deaths have also started to increase.
