DeSantis Shocks the Nation by Mobilizing National Guard

    2023-01-09

Florida leadership can’t stand the current immigration system.

They will attempt to persuade a U.S. district judge that the Biden administration is breaking federal law by implementing practices resulting in the release of unauthorized immigrants into the country.

Florida Governor DeSantis is facing several lawsuits for breaking the laws and shipping immigrants around the United States like they’re potato crates.

    Blame it on immigrants

Governor Ron DeSantis is in the process of activating the Florida National Guard to address the massive and abrupt increase in migrant arrivals in the Keys.

Florida leadership claims the Biden administration’s actions caused an influx of undocumented immigrants into the state, driving up the price of services, including jails, schools, and healthcare.

Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody said that undocumented immigrants are the root of public-safety problems.

“The Biden administration is releasing tens of thousands of migrants at the border every month. Many of these migrants are arriving or will arrive in Florida, harming the state’s quasi-sovereign interests and forcing it to incur millions of dollars in expenses,” said Moody.

    Activating the National Guard

Governor DeSantis activated the National Guard in order to assist local law enforcement and governmental agencies in the Florida Keys, which have been overburdened by the arrival of hundreds of predominantly Cuban and Haitian migrants by boats over the past week.

DeSantis has long criticized Biden for what the governor called the "Administration’s lax response."

“Since President Biden took office, he has intentionally dismantled public-safety immigration structures, allowing chaos to reign at our nation’s Southwest border, and letting unvetted, inadmissible immigrants — along with dangerous individuals and deadly drugs like fentanyl — into our country,” Moody said.

Last week, the Biden administration announced new measures aimed at increasing border security and lowering the number of people coming into the country.

However, DeSantis is trying to score more political points over the current crisis. And he's succeeding.

So when the coast guard asked the governor for help because they wanted to be prepared to deal with being overrun with illegal immigration he actually helped. Something that the current administration seems incapable of doing. Demorat’s want to pretend there is no problem and if you don’t go along with their narrative then they call you racist
