The snow squall is moving east at 50 miles per hour. Thunder is also possible in Sandoval and Rio Arriba Counties. Poor visibility and heavy and blowing snow are expected within the snow squall. Wind gusts above 30 miles per hour can also be expected. Dangerous and life-threatening travel is possible in Albuquerque. Interstate 40 and U.S. Highway 60 and Interstate 25 can expect to see impacts from the snow squall. The snow squall comes as a cold front is expected to bring high winds to New Mexico on Sunday.
