Florida Governor Ron DeSantis' newly released book topped last week's New York Times bestseller list.

The Florida governor's autobiography, "The Courage to Be Free," is primarily seen as a precursor to his anticipated quest for the GOP presidential nomination and contains several themes that are prevalent in his regular political message.

Florida governor's book outperformed Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex's autobiography "Spare," a big release this year.

In his book, DeSantis' hard work is seen through his studying Florida's laws and constitution to comprehend the many pressure points in the system and how to utilize his authority to promote his goals.

"People want leaders who are willing to speak the truth, stand for what is right and demonstrate the courage necessary to lead," the Florida governor said.

In a recent New York Times book review, DeSantis' memoir was criticized for demonstrating his "bullying sense of superiority."

DeSantis has frequently lambasted the mainstream "corporate media" for its anti-conservative tilt. To promote his new book, the governor recently spoke with various media outlets. He's bashing the media that he disagrees with and loves the media that supports the corporations backing his campaigns.

According to the governor's critics, DeSantis' admirers, who urged him to "humanize himself" for a broad audience, will be deeply disappointed by his latest book. They added that, for the most part, the book is courageously free of having anything in the way of personality or a recognizable sense of humor. Some say it's dry and very presidential,

In his acknowledgments, he expresses gratitude to "a hardworking team of literary professionals who were critical to telling the Florida story."

Meanwhile, Donald Trump supporters were barred from the book signing event in Florida. Police had to intervene in some places to get Trump supporters away from DeSantis.

Unfortunately, this is the first author, ever, unable to read his ghost-authored book. "I hear it's good," Desantis says.
