Pine Mountain (GA) - Wild Animal Safari is an incredible experience for animal lovers of all ages. Unlike anywhere else in Georgia, you can embark on a Safari drive-thru and see more than 75 species of animals in their own habitat. Animals you will see include Zebras, Watusi, Bison, and more. Drive your own vehicle (at your own risk, of course) or choose to rent one of theirs. For a large group experience, take a guided tour on one of their safari buses. The animals are so friendly that they will come right up to the windows. You can even purchase feed at the counter and give treats to the animals along the way.

After you've completed your Wild Animal Safari drive-thru, visit the walk-about zoo featuring even more wild animals, including giraffes. They have a petting zoo and animal barn so that you can get an up close and personal experience with these amazing creatures.

Be sure to visit their fully air-conditioned restaurant for a bite to eat. They have a full menu with sandwiches, burgers, hotdogs, chicken tenders, and more. There's something for everyone. And finally, stop by the souvenirs and gift shop if you want a little something to remember your trip.

With so much to explore, it is advisable to get there early and leave yourself plenty of time to see everything that is offered. Visit their site to plan your adventure.

Update: Wild Animal Safari - Pine Mountain received substantial storm damage and is temporarily closed to assess and repair these damages. Please keep an eye on their website for a reopening date. I will update this post as soon as I receive new information.
