Located on St. Simons Island, the Stables at Frederica has three different adventures to choose from. Each adventure is led by an experienced trail guide.

1. Beach rides - Enjoy a majestic 2-mile trip through the sand dunes and along the breathtaking Sea Island beach. The entire ride takes about an hour and a half to complete and is for riders 10 years of age and older.
2. Marsh rides - Meander through the marshland on this one-of-a-kind adventure. Keep your eyes peeled for dolphins, bald eagles, osprey, wild heron, and more. You never know what you might see in the marshes. The entire ride is about 45 minutes long and is for riders 7 years of age and older.
3. Wooded rides - Explore the maritime forests on horseback. Take in the beauty of the live oaks and be on the lookout for deer, opossums, bald eagles, herons, and more. The entire ride lasts about an hour and a half and is for riders 10 years of age and older.

For younger riders between the ages of 3-10, we offer 20-minute guided pony rides around the beautiful stable grounds.
