    There are numerous ways to experience the wonders of Craters of the Moon National Monument and Preserve. Begin your adventure by visiting the park's visitor center, where you can obtain maps, check out their informative displays to learn more, and watch the park's film.

    The park's caves and trails are all situated along the 7-mile Loop Road, making it simple for visitors to explore a lot in a short period of time. You can either relax and enjoy the picturesque drive or take breaks along the way to take a leisurely stroll, hike, have a picnic, capture photos, or venture into one of the caves.

    2. Silverwood Theme Park! Who doesn't LOVE a good roller coaster ride? Well, I do not, as I much prefer the carousel, but there are plenty of humans who certainly do and I am sure you are one of them! Yay!

    Silverwood Theme Park is a family-friendly amusement park that has more than 70 rides and slides, shows, and other attractions. You can visit their website and check out fun rides for kids all the way up to adults or those thrill seekers! So there is something for everyone in your family to love and enjoy.

    Waterpark in the spring and summer time and theme park in the fall and winter time! Or, do ALL during the summer, the possibilities for family fun are absolutely ENDLESS.

    Silverwood Theme Park is a fun and affordable destination (well, more affordable than the Boise Waterpark...) that offers a wide variety of rides and attractions for visitors of all ages. With its water park, live entertainment, and beautiful location, it's a great place to spend a day or a weekend with family and friends. Whether you are a thrill-seeker or just looking for a fun day out, Silverwood is a must-visit destination in Idaho.

    3. Shoshone Falls Park, located in Twin Falls, Idaho is absolutely gorgeous and definitely a place you should visit when driving through Idaho!

    4. Kirkham Hot Springs is a natural hot spring located in the Boise National Forest in Idaho. Kirkham Hot Springs is open for DAY USE ONLY from 7:00 am to 9:00 pm. (Just do your own research before traveling here)...

    This was closed for a while but is now back open for people to visit. Just remember to PICK UP YOUR TRASH!!!! We want this to remain open people!! Geesh!

    Hells Gate State Park is situated on the riverbed that was formed by the massive ice age floods that occurred approximately 15,000 years ago. Basaltic columns from the Pomona flows that date back 14 million years can be found at the southern end of the park. Additionally, the park was once home to a Nez Perce Village, although little remains of the village today. The depressions south of the campground are the last vestiges of pit houses that were used by the Nez Perce for several years while fishing for lamprey in the vicinity of Asotin Creek.
