Governor Ron DeSantis' team urgently calls all Florida Republicans to seize endorsing Donald Trump.

The soft launch of Ron DeSantis's presidential campaign seemed to be faltering even more after a report claimed that Florida's Republican governor is calling members of the state's congressional delegation to stop endorsing former President Donald Trump.

With Trump continuing to lead in the polls, DeSantis' once-solid support has been eroding quickly.

DeSantis is Coming After Trump Directly

DeSantis is falling behind Donald Trump in the polls, and he's very unhappy about it.

According to NBC News, DeSantis is shocked because the former president already received four endorsements from Republican Florida Congress members while he has none from the 20 Republicans in the state congressional delegation.

The network reports that four out of the six congressmen and congresswomen confirmed receiving a call from DeSantis' operatives urging them to stop endorsing Trump.

According to the source, Ryan Tyson, a steadfast DeSantis supporter, directs the campaign. He has planned direct calls between the members of Congress and the governor.

According to NBC, the six individuals whose endorsements have been requested to be postponed are Aaron Bean, Kat Cammack, Vern Buchanan, Mario Diaz-Balart, Laurel Lee, and Greg Steube.

    Ground shaking endorsement

Rep. Byron Donalds' endorsement is perceived as more significant than past congressional endorsements.

DeSantis' administration spent billions of dollars on southwest Florida, which Donalds serves, after Hurricane Ian, the most expensive storm in state history. DeSantis has also been a backer of an initiative led by Donalds' wife, Erika, to designate conservative members to local school boards.

DeSantis has taken a more authoritarian stance during his second term as governor of Florida after winning reelection by a landslide last November. Analysts claim that his immigration policies, LBGTQ+, and voting rights are intended to appeal to Trump's core constituency of supporters.

DeSantis is doing everything in his power to get a head nod from MAGA voters, but it seems like he's still behind Donald Trump.

I don't think it is right for DeSantis to call people and tell them not to back Trump, give me a break.

DeSantis has issues.. it would do him well to stop. Florida loves Trump. I've never seen people line the roads like they do for Trump or even fill a arena for a rally like they do for Trump
