The Daphne Police Department wrote the following Facebook post on 5 May 2023:

"Law enforcement is often a grim occupation. We so often deal with people who are having the worst day of their lives. Sometimes we think we have seen all there is to see. But all of a sudden, there are 9-1-1 calls about a guy driving a jet ski on 98, making us glad we do what we do. - Since this thing was tagged and street legal and he was from out of state, we sent him off with a warning and instructions to get a helmet." -Daphne Police Department (Source: Facebook post)

Some people in the comments want to know how it works out of the water, and others want to see the wheels underneath. It is one of those things, "you gotta see to believe," as the adage goes.

One woman, Nita Jeffers, commented that she witnessed this man on a personal watercraft out on the road today, among others

Another person commented that "He drove all the way here from Tennessee," followed by laughing emojis.

It's a good thing he didn't try to run from the Daphne Police Department.

People trying to get into others business and the 911 call was a waste of resources as that could have been left to using the local police department number.
