Potbelly adds fan favorite sandwich from its 'Underground Menu'

    2023-05-29

Back by popular demand, "The Clubby" is available beginning today, and it comes with a BOGO offer on the app.

(CHICAGO) Potbelly announced the beloved underground menu item, The Clubby, is now available to order exclusively on the Potbelly app.

"Your cravings have not gone unnoticed. We've heard the pleas, the whispers, and the enthusiastic demands for the return of this beloved favorite," according to an email from Potbelly Sandwich Works.

Get a free original sandwich on your next order

If you order The Clubby via the app, you will get a coupon for a free original sandwich on your next order. This offer is available until June 4th.

    What's on The Clubby?

The Clubby is an oven-toasted sandwich containing roasted turkey breast, hickory smoked ham, bacon, and provolone cheese, drizzled with buttermilk ranch.

The sandwich has long been ordered by those in the know from Potbelly's semi-secret underground menu.

What else is on Potbelly's underground menu?

The underground menu features tantalizing sandwiches, salads, and desserts. Sandwiches include the Fireball, Lucky 7, and Barnyard, while some of the amazing desserts feature the Cookie Collision Shake and Dream Bar Sundae.

Don't miss the seasonal favorite, Lemon Cheesecake Cookie

Another recently added menu item, the Lemon Cheesecake Cookie makes its return for summer. The cookie has a tart lemon flavor and is dotted throughout with little bites of fresh cheesecake.

“It is the ultimate combination of tart and sweet. One bite of the Lemon Cheesecake Cookie and customers are hooked,” says David Daniels, Chief Marketing Officer at Potbelly in a statement to QSR Magazine. “There’s no comparison when it comes to satisfying cookie cravings in the spring. This is our second seasonal cookie and we are excited to bring more distinct, craveable flavors this year.”

    About Potbelly Sandwich Works

Potbelly began in Chicago in 1977 when Peter Hastings and his wife began offering up homemade toasted sandwiches for customers at their Lincoln Park antique shop. In 1996, a friend and sandwich fan, Bryant Keil bought the shop from the Hastings, and the rest is history.
